Ridiculous Triathlon Review | High Score Reviews

Added: 17.04.2015 7:17 | 20 views | 0 comments

The Endless Runner is a genre that has found its home on smartphones. With a limited control set and short-burst gameplay the right game becomes a perfect time-killer, and ever since Temple Run became a hit the App Store has seen a regular stream of similar games. This means theres a lot of chaff for relatively little wheat, and in order to gain traction youre best off with a licenced character or some kind of gameplay hook. Ridiculous Triathlon goes for the latter, basing the game around the activity for people who clearly dont think cycling, swimming or running are enough of a challenge on their own. Its a sport thats on the up both in participation and TV time, so its a sensible wave to ride. It allows developer CremaGames to pack variety into the runner, with each event being represented with a different environment and control system.

The App Store version retails for $5.99, or can be bought as part of a Spartan bundle for $9.99, which will include Spartan Assault. You can purchase the standalone version of Spartan Strike via its App Store page, as well as the bundle.

Psychopath sim Postal banned from Google Play

Added: 08.04.2015 11:17 | 10 views | 0 comments

A developer claims that its game has been rejected from Google Play because it contains gratuitous violence - a surprising move that could make the Android storefront more like the iOS App Store when it comes to filtering out explicit content. Running With Scissors wanted to port the controversial Postal - an isometric psychopath simulator from 1997 about massacring innocent people - to Android, but the studio says "it seems we have hit a bit of a snag".
